The hand-blown glass forms generous rounded bubbles within the iron framework, graduating from smaller lobes at the crown into fuller forms before tapering to a delicate point below. The irregular curves and subtle variations in the glass lend the lantern an almost botanical quality, making it as interesting to admire during the day as it is when illuminated.
The glass has a beautiful translucent green tint, capturing natural light with a watery, jewel like clarity.
